I deeply miss the two visits to “Yan’s House”, and the time I spent having tea with Mariko. We talked about so many things—about Jun’s novels, about memories of our travels, about the Odessa–Istanbul teahouse, about life itself.
“Yan’s House” is like a museum that preserves memories in time. Is it possible that it could be kept and opened for people to visit? I hope I can attend Mariko’s memorial gathering.
